Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in accordance with nursing standards.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient condition throughout the shift.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain a safe and sterile environment, adhering to all hospital safety protocols and regulations.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding their treatment plans.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner using Electronic Health Records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Florida.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, with experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team during night shift rotations.
