Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormalities to the attending physician or charge nurse immediately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, following strict safety protocols.
- Provide direct patient care, including assisting with daily living activities and emotional support.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient charts, treatments, and observations.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, including code blue activations, utilizing your critical thinking skills.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Ability to perform under pressure and maintain composure during high-volume night shifts.
