We are a leading healthcare provider dedicated to excellence in patient care. As an RN on our night shift team, you will play a crucial role in monitoring patient recovery and ensuring a safe healing environment during the overnight hours.
Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Monitoring: Conduct thorough patient assessments and continuously monitor vital signs and medical conditions throughout the night shift.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Critical Care Response: Quickly identify changes in patient status and respond immediately to emergencies or acute health issues.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) reflecting patient care provided.
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the day shift team, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Hygiene & Comfort: Assist patients with daily living activities to ensure comfort and dignity while maintaining infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the state of Tennessee.
- Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, with specific experience in critical care or medical-surgical nursing.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, time management, and communication skills. Proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
- Shift Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
