Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to emergent situations with precision and calm.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient history, assessments, and care interventions accurately and timely.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, discharge instructions, and health promotion.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment to prevent accidents and infections.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit rounds.
Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered Louisiana RN License.
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent clinical experience preferred (Med-Surg or ICU background a plus).
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively within a high-paced night shift environment.
