Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status and implement appropriate nursing interventions and treatment plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies in strict accordance with physician orders.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions continuously during the night shift.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
- Educate patients and their families regarding medical conditions, medications, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care activities.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a high-volume environment.
