Key Responsibilities
As a Night Shift RN, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients during the evening hours.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to any changes in condition or emergency situations.
- Document patient care accurately and timely using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families during the night shift.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Oklahoma.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, preferably in a hospital or critical care setting.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
