Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously throughout the night shift.
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies following strict safety protocols.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to develop individualized care plans.
- Respond immediately to emergent patient needs and critical situations.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management strategies.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Nebraska.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, with ICU or Med-Surg background a plus.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and the ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
