Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patient vitals, symptoms, and medical conditions continuously throughout the night shift.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care provided.
- Respond immediately to patient emergencies and code blue situations.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and disease management.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- BLS and ACLS certification required (or ability to obtain).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, night shift environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
