Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions using advanced clinical skills
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while maintaining patient safety
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Mentor junior nursing staff and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the State of Ohio (or compact license)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience in acute care setting
- ACLS and BLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice
