Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond immediately to critical changes in condition.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the wider healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient education and emotional support to families during the night shift.
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina RN license (or compact license).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously in a high-pressure, 24/7 environment.
