Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to interventions, escalating critical issues immediately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters and care provided.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, discharge instructions, and preventative care.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control policies to ensure a secure environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-paced environment during the night shift.
