Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status through history taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status or symptoms immediately.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Document all care activities, observations, and interventions accurately.
Qualifications
- Current, valid RN license issued by the State Board of Nursing in Texas.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously during night shifts with minimal supervision.
