Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and medical conditions, responding immediately to any changes or emergencies.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient care plans, assessments, and progress notes accurately and timely.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure holistic patient management.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families during the night shift.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings.
Qualifications
- Current and active California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (BSN preferred).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an acute care or hospital setting.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
