Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions continuously, alerting physicians to any changes.
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and medical records.
- Provide patient education and support to families during the night shift.
- Ensure a safe and clean patient environment at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
- Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as necessary.
