Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status continuously, identifying changes and escalating care immediately.
- Document all patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment, accurately and legibly.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care after hospitalization.
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment by strictly adhering to infection control and safety policies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based activities to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-paced, fast-changing environment.
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
