Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during night shift hours
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations
- Document patient assessments and care plans accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain strict compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols
- Provide patient education and support to patients and families
Qualifications
- Current Kansas Registered Nurse license (RN)
- BSN preferred; ADN candidates with relevant experience considered
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts
