Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to interventions continuously.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient handovers and continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care activities.
- Respond immediately to patient emergencies and code blue situations.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Kansas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients weighing up to 250 lbs as needed.
