Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in specialized units (cardiology, oncology, ER)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress using EMR systems
- Mentor new nurses through our preceptorship program
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado (Compact State preferred)
- BSN or higher degree (ADN with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (night shift preferred)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
