Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient progress with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with critical thinking and calm leadership
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital protocols
- Precept and mentor new nursing staff to foster professional growth
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous learning programs
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Washington State (or compact license)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN with 2+ years of experience considered
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience (night shift preferred)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in high-stress scenarios
- Excellent communication abilities for patient/family interactions and team collaboration
- EMR proficiency (Epic experience highly desirable)
- Commitment to 12-hour night shift rotations (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
