Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans during overnight shifts
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless 24/7 patient continuity
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Lead rapid response protocols during high-acuity overnight scenarios
- Mentor new staff and uphold hospital quality standards
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- 2+ years acute care experience in ICU/ER or Step-down units
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Cerner)
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts (7pm-7am)
