Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes or adverse reactions to the nursing supervisor or physician immediately.
- Document patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment, in the electronic health record (EHR) accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to develop and revise individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, adhering to all infection control and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various clinical specialties within the facility.
- Computer literacy and ability to navigate electronic medical records.
