Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop comprehensive care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes to the charge nurse or physician immediately.
- Provide direct patient care, including hygiene, comfort, and emotional support.
- Document patient information accurately and legibly in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized nursing unit environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited Nursing Program (ADN, ASN, or BSN).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
- Valid State of Nevada Registered Nurse License (or ability to obtain).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient safety and advocacy.
