Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Care: Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) to ensure continuity of care and compliance with hospital standards.
- Communication: Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and utilize critical thinking skills to ensure patient safety during high-stress situations.
- Education: Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Infection Control: Adhere strictly to hospital hygiene and infection control protocols to protect patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing School (Associate Degree in Nursing, BSN, or Diploma) required.
- Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We offer comprehensive on-the-job training for new graduates and career changers.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required prior to start; we will assist with obtaining these if not currently held.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
