Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health status by performing physical examinations and recording medical history, symptoms, or treatment information.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians or according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, evaluate, and revise patient care plans.
- Provide direct patient care, including wound care, tracheostomy management, and ventilator support.
- Document patient care services in medical records or charts.
- Respond to emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing School (ASN, BSN, or MSN).
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital environment.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Willingness to complete specialized training programs during employment.
