Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status continuously to detect deterioration or complications.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure seamless patient transitions.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and code blue alerts.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
- Compassionate patient-centered approach with a focus on safety and quality.
- Current State of California Health Screenings.
