Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Accurately monitor and document vital signs and patient observations
- Assist with medical procedures and equipment operation under RN supervision
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during challenging times
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure holistic treatment plans
- Respond promptly to patient call systems and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required (will provide training if needed)
- Proficiency in electronic health record documentation
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- Background check and drug screen clearance
