Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor vital signs and medical equipment, promptly reporting any significant changes to the medical team.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and other healthcare staff.
- Provide clear education to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and home care instructions.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with diverse patient populations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with occasional high-stress situations.
