Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress to ensure safety and effective care.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans.
- Document patient care activities and medical histories accurately and in compliance with facility standards.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and adapt care strategies as needed.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
