Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations to identify health needs and develop appropriate care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient care activities, vital signs, and progress notes accurately and timely in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure holistic patient management.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, medications, and discharge instructions to promote health literacy.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Colorado.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team structure.
