Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Deliver high-quality, compassionate care, including assessment, treatment, and medication administration.
- Documentation: Accurately monitor patient vital signs and update electronic health records (EHR) in a timely manner.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Education: Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and medication adherence.
- Compliance: Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with facility standards and regulatory requirements.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Technology: Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
