Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physicians' orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition with appropriate interventions.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and home care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment by adhering to infection control and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computer systems and electronic medical records.
