Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care by assessing patient needs, developing nursing care plans, and implementing appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established nursing standards.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatment, documenting all clinical findings accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on disease processes, medication management, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control protocols and safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergencies within the assigned shift.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Washington.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
