Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care plans and medical records.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Respond immediately to patient emergencies and changes in clinical condition.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and post-discharge care.
- Adhere strictly to all hospital safety, infection control, and privacy regulations.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
