Job Overview
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality direct patient care, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate direct patient care in accordance with hospital protocols and state regulations.
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress to ensure safe recovery and intervene when necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed providers.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and social workers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist in triage and emergency response situations, remaining calm under pressure.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventative care strategies.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting (preferred).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to lift, move, and position patients as required by clinical duties.
- Computer proficiency with EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) preferred.
