Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care by assessing physical and emotional needs and developing individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond immediately to any changes in condition or emergencies.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with hospital standards.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventative care.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff at all times.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff training programs.
Qualifications
- Active RN License in the State of Oregon.
- BSN preferred; Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- BLS and ACLS certification required at time of hire.
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR).
