Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and respond immediately to any changes in condition or medical emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions, medications, and discharge planning.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Oregon.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient safety.
