Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by gathering information, such as medical history, symptoms, and physical examinations.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and follow nursing protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and respond to any changes in their status promptly.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to develop individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, medication management, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
