Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor health status continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to develop patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, medication management, and post-discharge care.
- Document all patient interactions, symptoms, and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate life-saving interventions.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience in a hospital or medical setting.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
