Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care across diverse patient populations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures with precision
- Monitor patient vitals and document clinical outcomes accurately in EMR systems
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and state nursing regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit performance audits
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Georgia (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree required (ADN candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications; PALS preferred for specialty units
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in Med/Surg or ICU
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR systems
