Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health and record vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and nursing policies.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assess and evaluate patient conditions and document responses to treatment promptly.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and care instructions.
- Respond to emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions as needed.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Mexico.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) is a plus.
