Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and response to therapies, alerting physicians to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Provide compassionate patient education and discharge planning support.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and assist with unit operations.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience (preferred).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
- Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-paced, team-oriented environment.
