Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized care to post-cardiac surgery patients and critically ill cardiac patients
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and interpret diagnostic results
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and recovery procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and adhere to JCAHO standards
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency interventions
Qualifications
- Active Washington State RN license (or compact state license)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- 2+ years ICU/Telemetry experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
