Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs and health metrics.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide clear patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations and critical care needs.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license issued by the State of Colorado.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a high-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
