Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical examinations and reviewing medical history.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans based on real-time feedback and clinical data.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-treatment care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred for specialty units.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a hospital setting (Med-Surg or Critical Care preferred).
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
