Responsibilities
- Provide advanced critical care nursing for ICU/CCU patients with complex conditions
- Administer medications and treatments with precision using evidence-based protocols
- Monitor and interpret vital signs, lab results, and diagnostic data
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Document clinical observations and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on post-hospital care and disease management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and code response teams
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (RN license required)
- BSN degree or higher (ADN candidates with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years ICU/CCU experience in acute care setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
