Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and evaluate patient conditions and responses to treatments.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and critical situations within the unit.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a Critical Care or Emergency Room setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
