Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in diverse clinical settings including ER, ICU, and Med-Surg units
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform patient assessments per facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient encounters accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and HIPAA regulations
- Provide education to patients and families on health management
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience in at least one specialty area (ER, ICU, OR, Telemetry)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing clinical environments
- Pass background check and drug screening
