Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with strict medical protocols and state regulations.
- Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to changes in condition or medical emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Document all patient interactions, care provided, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and medication adherence.
- Advocate for patient rights and ensure a safe, clean, and healing environment.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Kansas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required; CEN or CCRN preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
