Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care across diverse clinical settings including hospitals, clinics, and specialty units
- Administer medications, treatments, and injections per physician orders and facility protocols
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations with swift clinical interventions
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control procedures
- Provide patient education on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN license in good standing
- BLS certification with current AHA credentials
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience (preferred for specialty assignments)
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic, Cerner, etc.)
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and protocols
