Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to interventions, documenting all changes accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and code blue events.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and discharge instructions.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio (or compact state eligibility).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle critical situations with composure.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for travel between facilities if required).
